CHEQUE PRESENTATION TO THE YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE BY CHRISTINE ROBINSON

Mon 5/12/2011

Finally, after all the training and actual walking of the Coast to Coast, then my 50th birthday party, my final total raised by all you generous family, friends and customers was £5,026.00 which was handed over to the Chairman of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance at the November AGM.

I'm a little disappointed that I didn't reach my target of £7,200.00, which you will all know by now, is the amount of money it costs to keep the Yorkshire Air Amublances flying every day of the year, but I know every single penny will be used appropriately - there is no extravagance at the YAA charity.

The YAA is a fantastic charity run by a team of dedicated volunteer Trustees and a small team of hard working fund raisers based at their offices in Elland near Huddersfield. I will continue to fund raise as a volunteer for the YAA at County Show's and at our dealership at East Cowton, as they are a true Yorkshire Charity who provide a professional and much needed 4th emergency service for the people of Yorkshire.

If anyone is interested in getting involved as a volunteer, please contact me at the office and I will put you in touch with Tony Doveston our North Yorkshire YAA fundraiser manager.

Thank you again for your generous donations - Christine Robinson
