STAFF TRIP TO AGRITECHNICA
Mon 28/11/2011
Brian Robinson staff from Sales, Service and Aftersales visited Agritechnica 2011 in Germany, which was held at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds 13th—19th November.Agritechnica is the world’s largest exhibition for agricultural machinery and equipment, with 24 exhibition halls, over 388,000 m² exhibition floor space and more than 2,700 exhibitors.
Valtra launched their new N163 at the show. The new tractor model offers even more power and torque. With new software and a revised transmission design, both the stepless and powershift models provide optimal performance in all conditions. The N163 is the most powerful four-cylinder tractor in the world, producing 163 horsepower as standard and up to 171 horsepower with power boost.
We also made the time to visit the LEMKEN Factory in Alpen Germany, as it was only a couple of hours drive from Agritechnica and on looking around machinery ready for export Brian and Pete Reed came across a new Lemken Saphir 7 drill combination machine which is destined for delivery to the UK for one our customers in early 2012.
The trip was a great success and we came back buzzing with new ideas and ready for the new technology coming over from Europe.
The next Agritechnica Exhibition is November 2013
