VACANCY FOR AGRICULTURAL TECHNICIAN

A vacancy is becoming available at the end of April within our workshop team. Chris is leaving who has been with us for 7 years, which includes his time at Askham Bryan College taking his NVQ 2 & 3 apprentiship, he is leaving to work part-time on his family farm and also start his own service/repair business up in the Dales and we wish him well.
The technician we are looking for would need to have his/her NVQ 2 & 3 qualification's and ideally have at least 3 years experience, be willing to work overtime and work well within our family business.
We employ 18 staff in total with 6 technician's in the workshop and a service manager. All techincians are trained on new machinery with Manufacturer training these include: VALTRA LEMKEN, JOSKIN, CAT AG, POTTINGER, ISEKI, JF STOLL, KUHN, TECNOMA.
We are also an authorised Thorough Examination Centre for LOLER/PUWER/NSTS SPRAYER testing.
Brian Robinson's is also an authorised Challenger Terragator Service Centre and we look after a number of Terragator's in our area.
Employing a new member of staff is always difficult for any business and thankfully we do not have problems retaining staff, as many have been here since leaving school and they are now in their forties.
We are looking for, not just experience and qualifications but an employee who is a genuine character, who is flexible, trustworthy and also a good communicator, which are basically the qualities all our current employees have.
