Company History Company history Since 1982 when Brian first started servicing farm machinery on his Grandparents small-holding, the agricultural dealership has seen many changes and has grown from strength-to-strength through constant investment in equipment and training, dedication to offering an unrivalled service and sheer hard work from all our staff. Even now we still retain a 'family-run' business approach which has seen us not only increase our customer base, but have an enviable reputation for customer loyalty. The area surrounding us has a nice mixture of farming and this helps us to provide a quality service to farmers both near and far and offer a wide range of agricultural products and first class assistance to any problem you may encounter. "A family-run business where quality has always come first" Back in 1985 Brian took on his first employee and started on the long road to success and in 1986 he made the decision to start selling agricultural machinery. Success beckoned and in 1989 at the Royal Smithfield Show we were offered the opportunity to become a Valmet tractor dealership. Even though Valmet were virtually unknown in the UK at the time, the reliability and innovation of the product and the hard work and dedication of our staff, has seen us sell over 200 Valmet tractors and achieve the prized accolade of 'Valmet dealer of the year' in 1996 and in 2004 the prestigious 'Valtra silver dealer award'. Both of which demonstrates our total dedication to their range of products and of our constant investment in training and having the very latest servicing and diagnostic equipment to service their products. "Traditional values and extremely loyal staff provides you with an excellence of service rarely bettered by many of our competitors" The loyalty, professionalism and expertise of our staff are without question one of the main reasons that we have such a tremendously loyal customer base. They realise as we do, that we are here to provide farmers with the very best products and support when it is needed the most. Many of our staff have matured with the business and have formed a 'friendly' relationship with our customers that see them come back, time and time again. We take great pride in being a family-run business and treat our customers as we would like to be treated ourselves. Our after sales service offers you total confidence that whatever the problem or whenever it occurs, you can rely on our team of knowledgeable and friendly staff to solve the problem quickly and with minimal fuss. During those critical times in silage and harvesting seasons, we aim to provide a near seven-day service to provide that all important in-field back up, so should a fault arise, we're never far away. We also cut approximately 3,500 acres each harvest season through our combine contracting with a fleet of Massey Ferguson combines including a 7278, a 40RS and a 36RS and we also have a Claas Lexion 460 combine, so we realise only to well the importance in having a prompt response to a breakdown whenever one occurs. "Whichever department you need, you'll find a wealth of experience and expert knowledge in each one" Whether it's an obscure or obsolete part for an old tractor or combine or a VOR part needed during the busy harvest season, our fully computerised parts department can help source the parts quickly for you and with links into the stock inventory all of our major franchises, locating the parts and ordering them is carried out with maximum efficiency and minimal delay.
