STOKESLEY SHOW TRADE STAND CUP Wed 3/10/2007 Stokesley Show was great, eventhough only 22,000 came through the turn stiles - half the usual amount of show goers - obviously to do with the Foot and Mouth restrictions but as always the show was of good quality and well organised. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed ourselves on our stand, Brian, Jeff, Chris, Paul and myself manned the show stand and hope we were of some help to all enquiries regarding the machinery on show and any service questions relating to our dealership. Towards the end of the day, the head steward came towards us carrying a very impressive silver cup and announced that we had been judged as the best trade stand and were presented with the Ray Chapman Motors Cup, the first time an agri dealer had won since the cup was first presented in 1989. We were all really chuffed and Brian wants to try and win the cup again next year! I thought it was the flowers that swung it, which were selected and provided by Whitegate Nurseries at West Rounton but Brian reckoned it was how well he had cut the grass and the positioning of his machinery! At this point the staff stepped in and commented that there is no I in team - as we keep telling them - it was a joint team effort so well done to us all. Finally, a big thank you to all our customers who came to support us and the many potential customers who showed an interest in what we do and in the products that we sell.
