AGCO Apprentice Of The Year

Our congratulations go to Matthew Read who has just completed his level 3 diploma in  land-based engineering.

He is one of the first in the country to manage this since the tough new national educational standards for the sector were introduced.

The AGCO Academy Apprenticeship is now in its twentieth year, and in partnership with Moreton Morrell College, has been the starting point for some of the most highly-respected and sought-after agricultural engineers in the sector.

It combines classroom and workshop training with practical, work-based development to lay the foundations of a successful career.

In addition to this achievement he was also named as Agco’s apprentice of the year for 2019.

This prestigious award includes apprentices from Agco’s  entire dealer network with brands including Valtra, Fendt and Massey Fergusson.

Matthew’s wonderful achievement is a fine example of ongoing investment in staff training as we look to maintain the high standards set here at BRM.
